Im am very pleased with the quality and the sound of these speakers. I purchased them to replace the two stock 6x8s in the back and the infinity 6x8s I put in the front doors. These are superior in sound to either set of speakers. The bass is very adequate for mid bass woofers, when I first turned them on I had to check if my subwoofer was off because of the bass. It was off. The sound is fantastic. The highs are very crisp and clear and the mids are very well heard. the infinities I had would muffle with the bass, these do not. Even at high volume they stay crisp clear and sounding perfect. I would recommend these to any audiophile as they sound better than any other speakers Ive ever owned with the exception of the Alpine type R components I had in my old Honda. Im running an Alpine 305s headunit to power these speakers. the power is adequate and makes everything loud enough for me....and my neighbors. I would recommend these to any audiophile as they sound better than any other speakers Ive ever owned with the exception of the Alpine type R components I had in my old Honda. Im running an Alpine 305s headunit to power these speakers. the power is adequate and makes everything loud enough for me....and my neighbors. Bought these for the front door of my sons vehicle. He is 17 and we have built a nice system in his car using Sound Ordinance gear. For the $ - am very happy. The tweeters are very clear and mids and very good. He also has 6x8 S/O in rear deck and 2 -12 inch Rockford subs driven by S/O mono amp in S/O bass bunker. Ok bought these because I had faith in Crutchfields signature brand. I just got them installed and noticed that these components don't put out alot of bass at all. The highs are really good and the mids are just ok. I should of spent a little more and got something else. Its not really a big deal since these are just front and rear speakers.
