Features
Overview: The Numeric-6P is a weather-resistant, single-gang accessory
keypad that is designed to work with the Niles Solo-6IR or Solo-6MD keypads. It
connects to the Solo-6 keypad via the supplied Cat-5 jumper cable. Combined with
the Solo-6 keypad, the Numeric-6P gives you plug-and-play integration with Niles
ZR-6 MultiZone receivers.
Functions: The keypad gives you numeric key access to playlists,
discs, tracks, stations, or satellite/cable channels to give you superior
control and faster access to programming content. The Numeric-6P also provides
random, repeat, disc, and favorite keys for additional user convenience.
Keys: The Numeric-6P features the following keys:
- Fav Key: allows direct access to preset favorites using the 0-9
keys
- Repeat Key: activates the repeat mode
- 0-9 Keys: provides direct access to radio stations, channels, and
preset favorites
- Last Key: returns to the previous channel
- Disc Key: activates the disc or album mode on an iPod, music
server, or other device
- Shuffle Key: toggles the shuffle or random mode on and off
- Enter Key: required by some devices to enter channel numbers or
for direct access
Mounting: The Numeric-6P can be installed together with the Solo-6
keypad in a dual-gang box. The Numeric-6P has a white Decora color kit
installed, which can be replaced with the supplied light almond or bone color
kit to match your decor. The Decora faceplate needed to trim out the
installation is not included.
Weather-Resistant: When properly installed, the Numeric-6P can be used
in moist indoor and sheltered outdoor environments such as patios, spas,
bathrooms, and showers.
