Overview: The SR-H2000 Sirius Satellite Radio
Tuner is a component-sized Sirius Satellite Radio tuner that fits into your
audio rack along with your home receiver and other A/V components. The SR-H2000
is equipped with audiophile-grade components which will insure you will hear all
of satellite radio's potential sound quality.
Note: The SR-H2000 does not come with
an antenna. You will need to purchase a separate Sirius Home
Signal Distribution Kit, such as the 220SHDK1, 220SSDK1, or
220SCDK1.
Sirius Satellite Radio: Sirius Satellite Radio features more
than 130 streams of commercial-free music, plus sports, talk, news, comedy, and
other programming beamed coast-to-coast. A subscription to Sirius Satellite
Radio is required in order to enjoy Sirius programming. Sirius programming is
not available in Alaska or Hawaii.
Digital-To-Analog Converter (DAC):
The SR-H2000 features high-quality digital-to-analog circuitry to extract
maximum detail from the Sirius Radio signal.
Preamp Section: Typical plug and play satellite radio receivers use
headphone amplifiers which introduce noise and distortion into the system. This
unit's premium high-gain audio preamp section is extremely quiet, low in
distortion, and its wide response matches the output of typical CD or DVD
players. The audio output level of the SR-H2000 can be adjusted to fine tune the
audio level for best performance. The audio level settings affect only the
analog line output.
LCD Display: The LCD display screen of the SR-H2000 Sirius
Home Tuner provides information about the operation of the unit, such as the
currently tuned channel, song or show being played, artist name, time and other
information. You can choose from a small font or large font for viewing the
display screen from a distance.
Touch Sensitive Controls: The SR-H2000 features
touch-sensitive front-panel buttons that are back lit for easy operation.
Wireless Remote Control: The IR wireless remote control supplied with
the SR-H2000 is capable of operating most of the features from a remote location
within the line of sight of the unit's front-panel IR remote sensor. Each button
on the remote control functions in the same way as the button on the SR-H2000,
itself.
Search Modes: The Sirius Home Tuner has four ways to search
for and select music - Category, Channel, Artist and Song Title.
Channel List: The Channel List mode allows you to search for a
different channel while listening to your current channel.
Direct Tuning: Sirius channels can be directly accessed by using the
numeric keypad on the SR-H2000's front panel or remote control.
Channel Presets: Channel presets allow you to store up to 30 of your
favorite channels as presets for quick access with the press of a single button.
The SR-H2000 features 3 preset banks (A, B, C) which can contain up to 10
channel presets each. In addition to accessing your presets directly, you can
choose to scroll through allow of the unit's preset stations.
Preset Tune List Mode: While in the Preset Tune Mode, you can view
your list of presets showing channel name, artist name, or song title while
listening to your current channel.
Jump: The Jump function allows you to quickly tune to a specific
channel and then tune back to the original channel by pressing a single button.
This function can be programmed to jump to a channel which is accessed
frequently and temporarily such as traffic, weather, news, or sports.
Memory Song Seek Alert: This feature allows you to capture and store
information about the programming (artist, song, sports team, or traffic city)
on the currently tuned channel, up to a total of 30 items. The receiver then
continuously searches all the Sirius channels and alerts you when a match to a
saved program is being played. When an artist (or artists) are stored in memory,
at the time the receiver is initially powered on, you will be alerted when the
artist or artists are singing.
Game Alert: Game Alert allows you to store your favorite sports teams
in memory. The SR-H2000 will constantly scan the channels and will sound an
alert when a sports team you stored in memory is applying a game or when their
is a score update for a team, depending upon which option you have chosen for
the sports team. The SR-H100 tuner can automatically identify when
your favorite team is playing. When a game is found, Game Alert is displayed and
the My Game Zone screen is displayed listing the sports games which are
currently being played.
Instant Replay: The SR-H2000 Home Sirius Receiver is capable of
storing the audio of the channel to which you are listening for later playback,
approximately up to 44 minutes depending upon the channel to which you are
tuned. As soon as you tune to a channel, the tuner automatically begins storing
the audio, enabling you to rewind at any time to replay the audio again.
Parental Control: The SR-H2000 Sirius Receiver has the ability to lock
a channel (or channels) you do not want others to access without your
permission. Locked channels will not appear when browsing channels. In addition,
when anyone tires to access the locked channel using the direct tuning function,
an Enter Code screen will be displayed and the channel cannot be accessed until
the correct 4-digit code is entered.
Time Based Menu: The Time-Based Features menu allows you to access the
Clock, Alarm Program Alert, Auto Shutdown and Sleep Mode menu options.
- Clock: The Clock menu option allows you to setup the clock shown
on the display screen, based on the format desired and the time zone in you

to shutdown after a selected period of time. You can choose from 15, 30, 45,

add-on tuner for dual zone.
