Terminals: The BB12-150V is equipped with a pair of spring-post speaker terminals mounted in the rear panel. The spring terminals will accept bare wire up to 10 gauge, pin connectors, and single banana plugs, but are spaced too far apart for dual banana plugs. Unique porting design makes it look cooler than your standard ported box. But my favorite feature, is that it fits perfectly, I mean PERFECTLY behind the 3rd row of my Armada. I got this box to give my old eclipse sw6210 pushed by an alpine mrp-m450 wired at 2ohm 400w some life. I don't have room in my car for a 2.5 box, so 1.6 would have to do. I have been very impressed so far, it added alot of volume to my system, doesn't sound as clean as a sealed box, but the extra volume is worth it. Be warned it comes pre-solder wire, I had clamps wired on my sub so I had to get all the solder off to connect my sub, serious pain, ended up switching terminals from my old sub box to the sound ordnance box for a clean connection. Wow... what a perfect match this box makes with the Pioneer TS-W308D2! I bought these two items from Crutchfield last week. This box is 1.60cu.ft and is tuned to 34Hz. The Pioneer TS-W308D2 has a recommended ideal Ported box size of 1.65cu.ft. I have an Alpine CDA-9825 (4volt RCA output) and a Rockford Fosgate Power 551S (550watts RMS x 1 bridged output at 4ohms). I had a 1.17cu.ft sealed box and a Rockford Fosgate P1S412 (Punch Stage 1 12" 4ohm subwoofer). It was the first sealed box I ever owned and bought it because I rarely listen to rap anymore. But it just wasn't enough bass! The Sound Pressure Levels are way higher with this Ported box and Pioneer Sub (wired at 4ohms), even with Rock and Country music! My rear view mirror shakes so bad, I can't see out of it. This wasn't the case with my sealed box and RF Sub. If I owned a bigger vehicle, I would have bought two Pioneer Subs and the Dual Ported 12" subwoofer enclosure (Model BB122-175V). Bought this at the recommendation of one of the Cruchfield techs (online chat, very convenient). Mated it to a 12" JL Audio subwoofer. This combo produces so serious bass. Box is a great size and shape (perfect volume for the 12" sub). The carpet is a good color (matches my car) and the box feels heavy and quality. Unique porting design makes it look cooler than your standard ported box. But my favorite feature, is that it fits perfectly, I mean PERFECTLY behind the 3rd row of my Armada. Almost like it was made for this truck. Couldn't be happier. Thanks crutchfield. Pros: Quality fit and finish, unique design, perfect mate to 12" subs. Fits perfectly behind 3rd of row of my suv. The sub wanted a bigger box but I didn't have the extra space. It was powered by a Sound Ordinance M1500 and the whole package sounded great. I got this box to give my old eclipse sw6210 pushed by an alpine mrp-m450 wired at 2ohm 400w some life. I don't have room in my car for a 2.5 box, so 1.6 would have to do. I have been very impressed so far, it added alot of volume to my system, doesn't sound as clean as a sealed box, but the extra volume is worth it. Be warned it comes pre-solder wire, I had clamps wired on my sub so I had to get all the solder off to connect my sub, serious pain, ended up switching terminals from my old sub box to the sound ordnance box for a clean connection. For two year now I had had my alpine type-r in a cheap Wal-Mart box and never got the sound I was quite looking for. This box has given my sub a wider range of bass and I've actually had to turn down the amp because it was overpowering the rest of the music. We repaired and re-repaired her last box and it kept breaking. She reports that the new box has superior loudness and clarity. It fit nicely into the back of her BMW 325ci. I bought these two items from Crutchfield last week. This box is 1.60cu.ft and is tuned to 34Hz. The Pioneer TS-W308D2 has a recommended ideal Ported box size of 1.65cu.ft. I have an Alpine CDA-9825 (4volt RCA output) and a Rockford Fosgate Power 551S (550watts RMS x 1 bridged output at 4ohms). I had a 1.17cu.ft sealed box and a Rockford Fosgate P1S412 (Punch Stage 1 12" 4ohm subwoofer). It was the first sealed box I ever owned and bought it because I rarely listen to rap anymore. But it just wasn't enough bass! The Sound Pressure Levels are way higher with this Ported box and Pioneer Sub (wired at 4ohms), even with Rock and Country music! My rear view mirror shakes so bad, I can't see out of it. This wasn't the case with my sealed box and RF Sub. If I owned a bigger vehicle, I would have bought two Pioneer Subs and the Dual Ported 12" subwoofer enclosure (Model BB122-175V).
