Our take on the Infinity ERS 110RIF

If you're installing Infinity's ERS 110 in-wall/in-ceiling speakers in your new home, use this rough-in kit to stake out your speaker mounting locations before the drywall goes up. Then your builder can run the in-wall speaker wire and cut the holes for your speakers, making installation a lot easier. The kit includes a pair of speaker frames, and "wings" for mounting the frames between most wall studs and joists. Wings are 4" x 15". Warranty: 30 days.

Features

Overview: The ERS 110RIF bracket is designed to simplify installation of Infinity's in-wall/in-ceiling ERS 110 speakers in new construction. The 4" x 15" flat wing sections can be snapped into place. The rough-in frames are nailed into place on the framing before drywall or sheetrock is installed. It is used as a guide to cut the proper hole for the speaker when the drywall is installed.

Speaker Wire Tab: Pre-routed speaker wire can be held into place by using the molded wire tabs on the backside of the frame.
