Great product. I love the sound quality it's a huge difference between my new speakers and the speakers already had in my car. Crutchfield also did an amazing job.

After more than four decades of mobile sound in my cars & trucks, Pioneer is still the most dependable of speakers to use. In a Jeep sound bar, these Pioneer TS-A1374R speakers sound great. They replaced the Chrysler factory paper speakers with a "whizzer cones" for highs. (Someone still uses whizzer cones?) There are no boom-boom lows for rap lovers, but if you like music, real music, these will meet or exceed your expectations. They could be a bit more efficient for use with a factory radio, but with my factory set up they are fine. Recommended.

Crutchfield really goes above and beyond including everything you need to install any product in a given vehicle, they just take the guess work out of everything. These speakers came with practically everything I needed to install them except the tools. Couldn't ask for better service out of a company.

I used these speakers with a JVC receiver, and got no almost no bass at all, even with the low frequencies dialed to "10" on the Eq. They do give clear mids and high range, so they are fine if you have other speakers to supply the bass. I don't recommend them for use on their own, though.

I listen to classic rock and classic metal and these speakers are an excellent upgrade. Great mids and highs and the bass is good too. They won't shake your car, but they do provide decent bass. I installed them in the doors of my Ford with the 6x8 to 5 1/4 adapter bracket and I'm using the foam baffles with the bottoms cut off. Powered by a Sony WX-GT80UI headunit.

highs and midrange are good but it does lack on the bass sound. Not bad.

I bought these because of the wide frequency response range, as an upgrade from the single cone door speakers in my VW Eurovan Camper . My head unit is an older Kenwood with 6 diferent EQ modes plus adjustable bass, mid, and treble. The crossovers in these speakers produce very well defined mid and high range with a wide range of adjustment. The bass is lacking, but even at the max setting it doesn't distort at high volume.

These are a replacement for the stock rear speakers that came with my 2007 Civic. Shipping and installation instructions were great from Crutchfield. The Pioneer speakers on the on other hand sound worse than the stock speakers they replaced. I am no sound expert and my car radio is stock, but I could not believe Pioneer was bested by Honda's part bin. You get what you pay for I guess.

A big improvement over factory speakers for a small price tag. The sound is really clear, and I'm surprised about the amount of bass - more than I expected.

I just installed these today in the rear doors of my 2005 Avalanche with Bose system. I've replaced the factory receiver with a Sony WX-GT90BT using the Metra GMOS-100, so I'm still running the Bose amp and miniature subwoofer. My front door speakers are Infinity 6030CS.

I think that these Pioneer TS-A1374R are some of the best sounding 5 1/4 inch speakers I've ever heard. I've had them turned up fairly loudly and I've noticed no distortion. They seem to have very good mid-range and the highs are good, also. For this size speaker, they also have very good bass response. I'm not going to tell you that they have the same bass response as a subwoofer or even 6x9 speakers, but for their size, they put out as some good mid bass, again, with no distortion. I tend to listen to mostly classic rock from the 60s, 70s and 80s and they work very well for that. They sound far better overall and much more clear and crisp than the factory Bose speakers.

It took less than an hour combined to install them. They're direct bolt-ins with no modification needed. I know that Crutchfield recommends larger speakers for the rear doors of the Avalanche, but the Avalanche rear speakers with the Bose system are actually 5 1/4 speakers and if you don't want to remove the plastic factory mounts, these are a perfect fit. I had no issues with clearance with these, using the factory grills.

So far, after one day, I couldn't be happier with these. If that changes, I'll revisit my review.

Installation was easy especially since Crutchfield supplied vehicle specific instructions and the adapters to connect the factory harness to these speakers. I paired these with the Pioneer 3-way 6X9's in the rear and together they are a great improvement over the 13 year old factory speakers. Wish I had upgraded to these much earlier.

First purchase on crutchfield. Very happy with the product and quick shipping. Love how the product was packaged and came with all necessary hardware. Speakers are awesome. Wished it produced alittle more bass though.

The speakers were OK, not as good as my Bostons in my Fusion with stock radio. I will be calling to find out if larger speakers like Bostons will fit in my Focus ST.

The price was perfect for what I needed in my car to get better sound for the buck.

I own a 15 year old car and had already replaced the rear speakers and recently had to replace the front. These speakers sound great! Can't bet it for the price AND the level of service I received from Crutchfield was way beyond what I expected! They sent everything I needed and very easy to understand directions. Not only installation nut also how to get the doors apart which can be tricky. If I ever need anything else, I will be coming right back to Crutchfield! Thanks !!! :)

After the simple install. Turned the radio on and WoW! Great bass. What an excellent set of speakers. These were to replace the factory speakers in a 1996 Jeep Cherokee. I am beyond happy with the outcome. Price? Way under priced for the performance. Crutchfield does it again. Love this site and their products. I've been shopping here for over 8 years.
