Features

Overview: The Wi-Ex YX-050-PCS-CEL ceiling mount indoor, omni-directional antenna provides enhanced performance for the Wi-EX zBoost cell phone-PCS signal boosters and is compatible with YX500series and YX600 ProPack series.

Compatibility: The antenna will work with the following zBoost PCS-CEL-Dual Band signal boosters (673YX510 or 673YX545).

Placement: The YX050-PCS-CEL antenna provides enhanced signal strength in all directions (omi-directional) from the antenna. The antenna should be located near the center of the area where improved signal strength is desired.

Mounting: The antenna is mounted to a ceiling by drilling out a 3/4" diameter hole in the ceiling where the antenna is to be mounted. The antenna is then placed flush against the ceiling and the attached cable and threaded mount routed through the hole. The installed plastic nut must be removed first before routing the threaded mount through the hole. Once the cable and threaded mount are through the hole the plastic nut is screwed back on to tighten and secure the antenna into place.

Connection: The antenna may be connected directly to the Base Unit using the attached 9'' RG-8x coax cable or located near the Base unit using an optional RG-8x coax extension cable.
