The fast Pentax FA 50mm f/1.4 lens works well for all your Pentax SLRs — both DSLRs with APS-C sensors and full-frame 35mm film cameras. Well-suited for everyday news reportage, landscapes, and snapshots, this lens is also excellent for portraits when mounted on an APS-C camera as its length becomes an effective 75mm.
