Overview: The Thule 846-Quest Soft Side Cargo Carrier attaches to your vehicle's factory or aftermarket roof-mount luggage racks using the supplied adjustable nylon straps. The 846-Quest Cargo Carrier offers 13 cubic feet of storage space and can support up to 100 lbs. The 846-Quest features durable, water resistant PVC 600 denier nylon construction with taped seams that stand up to the toughest conditions. The Carrier features storm flaps with velcro fasteners. The Soft Carrier also features heavy-duty molded handles for easy bag handling and conveniently collapses down to store in its own storage bag.

The term Weatherproof can be misleading

This product in general works well, easy to install and fitted securely to the roof rack which gave peace of mind when driving. I gave this item a 4* rating based on the item itself my only real criticism is the way it is decribed under product attributes.

Please be aware of the term 'weather proof' does not necessarily mean waterproof , it does not even mean 'water/rain resistant '. If you intend purchasing this item for use over longer distances with the possibility of inclement weather i.e rain , I would not recommend it , this bag will NOT keep your stuff dry!
