12-hour AM/PM time in USA frequency spacing mode. In European frequency spacing
mode, the clock will display 24-hour time. The head unit also display day,
month, and year

Audio Section
24 Bit D/A Converter: The Dual XDVD3201 utilizes a 24-bit
digital to analog converter for superior sound quality.
MOSFET Amplifier: The Dual XDVD3201 is equipped with a
MOSFET amplifier. Compared to conventional power supplies, the MOSFET
amplification circuit is smaller and more efficient, and it delivers increased
power with less distortion and absolutely zero on/off switching noise. More
power means louder and cleaner music at higher volumes because you're not
pushing the limits of the amplification circuit.
CEA2006 Compliant: The power specifications for the XDVD3201
are compliant with the CEA2006 Mobile Amplifier Power Testing and Measurement
standards from the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). These standards were
developed as a way to equitably compare power specs from model to model and
between manufacturers. The power output specs for the XDVD3201 are as follows:
- CEA2006 Specs: 18 watts RMS x 4 channels (at 4 ohms,
20Hz-20kHz, 1% THD-N)
- Maximum Power Output: 60 watts x 4 channels (240 watts
total)
5ch/2V Preamp Outputs: The XDVD3201 features front, rear,
and subwoofer 2.0-volt preamp outputs. The front & rear speaker preamp outputs
are balance/fade adjustable. The subwoofer preamp output is non-fading.

low-pass filter (80/120/160Hz) and output level adjustment.
Preset EQ Curves: The Dual DVD Receiver features the
following preset EQ curves to customize your music listening. You can choose
from User, Flat, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Soft, Vocal, Classic, Dance, Movie, and
Hip-Hop.
3-Band EQ: The User Preset EQ setting allows you to adjust
the unit's 3-Band EQ.
- Bass: select from 60Hz, 80Hz, 100Hz, or 200Hz
- Midrange: select from 500Hz, 1kHz, 1.5kHz, or 2.5kHz
- Treble: select from 10khz, 12.5kHz, 15kHz, or 17.5kHz
Loudness: The Loudness function enhances the bass & treble
frequencies at low volumes.
Source Volume Level: The Source Volume Level control allows
a gain adjustment for each audio source (Disc, SD, USB, iPod, Tuner, AV1, and
AV2). You can set the source volume level for each mode, depending on the
relative volume of each audio source.
Radio Functions

tuner with manual, seek, scan, and preset tuning.
Preset Tuning: The built-in AM/FM tuner allows you to store
up to 18 FM station presets and 18 AM station presets. You can tune your presets
manually or have the head unit do it automatically.
Preset Scan: You can scan all your stored preset stations and listen
to the first 10 seconds of each.
Local: The Local function allows only strong radio stations
to be received, blocking stations with weaker signals.

front-panel SD-card slot for playback of MP3/WMA music files stored on a SD/SDHC
memory card (up to 16GB).
MP3/WMA Playback: The XDVD3201 can play MP3/WMA audio files that have been recorded on CD-R/CD-RW,
DVD-R/RW, or DVD+R/RW discs,
as well as SD/SDHC memory cards. The files must be recorded in ISO 9660 Level 1 or 2, or Joliet file
format. Compatible bit rates are 8-320 kbps for MP3, and 32-192 kbps for
WMA. Recorded discs and SD-cards can have up to 2,000 files and 200 folders. The
head unit will display MP3 ID3 Tag and WMA Tag information.
Internal Buffer: An internal buffer provides ESP (Electronic Skip
Protection) for MP3/WMA discs to virtually eliminate skipping.
JPEG Playback: The XDVD3201 also supports playback JPEG still images
recorded onto a CD-R/CD-RW, DVD-R/RW,, or DVD+R/RW discs. JPEG photos can be

left two-thirds of the screen to start the current chapter over, or the bottom
right two-thirds of the screen to skip to the next chapter. Touching the top
left one-third of the screen allows to display the Main menu; while touching the
top center of the screen displays DVD disc information. Pressing the middle of the screen activates the DVD
playback control functions.

AV Connections
Dual A/V Inputs: The Dual XDVD3201 DVD receiver is fitted
with two audio/video inputs. The unit features a front-panel 3.5mm audio/video
input on the front panel of the head unit for connecting a temporary external
A/V source, such as a game console. The head unit also
features a composite video/stereo audio RCA input on the rear panel for
connecting a permanent external A/V source, such as a Blu-ray player or mobile
ATSC tuner.
Note: This rear-panel composite video input also serves as the A/V
input for your USB-connected iPod (using proprietary Dual cable).
Dual Video Outputs: The two rear-panel composite video
outputs allow you to connect optional external monitors. You can watch the same
audio/video source that is being played on the DVD receiver on your connected
external monitors.
Camera Input: The unit features a composite video input for
connecting an optional rear view camera (sold separately). The video from this
connection can be set to display when switched to this input, or display the
rear view camera video automatically when the vehicle is shifted into Reverse
gear. The white/brown wire (within 16-pin harness) must be connected to the
vehicle's reverse lamp circuit for automatic video switching. Automatic video
switching takes approximately 2.8 seconds. The camera image can be set to Normal
or Mirrored.
Note: Audio from your music source will continue
playing, while the back-up camera is displayed.
Remote Control
Wireless Remote Control: In addition to the unit's touch-screen panel
and hard-key controls, the XDVD3201 also comes supplied with a full-functioning
IR wireless remote control for convenient operation.
Steering Wheel Remote Compatibility: The head unit features
an OEM steering wheel remote control input on the rear of the unit to allow you
to keep your vehicle's radio steering wheel remote controls when used with the
optional PAC SWI-RC Steering Wheel Control Interface Adapter (541SWIRC,
sold separately); or the optional Metra ASWC Steering Wheel Control Interface
