3D Active Shutter Eyewear: The Panasonic Active 3D Glasses
(TY-EW3D10U) utilize high-precision shutter control to synchronize the 3D
Eyewear to your Panasonic 3D TV, so you get crisp, clear images in each eye.
High-Precision 3D Eyewear Control Technology: Highly precise timing
control for the opening and closing of the shutters minimizes unwanted light
leakage to enable clear 3D viewing. This control technology completely closes
the shutters for both eyes at the instant that the images change for the left
and right eyes. As a result unwanted afterimages are masked to enable clear and
comfortable 3D viewing.
Panasonic TV Compatibility: Panasonic 3D Eyewear is only designed only
for use with certain Panasonic VIERA 3D televisions. Current models include (as
of May 2011):
- TCP50ST30
- TCP55VT30, TCP65VT30
- TCP50GT30, TCP55GT30, TCP60GT30, TCP65GT30
IR Sensor: The 3D glasses communicate wirelessly with your Panasonic
3D television via IR.
Viewing Distance: For a comfortable 3D viewing experience, view the
screen at a distance at these recommended distances.
- approximately 6' 2" for a 50" screen
- approximately 6' 6" for a 55" screen
- approximately 7' 6" for a 60" screen
- approximately 7' 10" for a 65" screen
Note: Using the 3D Eyewear at a distance closer than the
recommended distance may cause eyesight fatigue.
Maximum Viewing Range: The Panasonic 3D Active Glasses provide a
maximum viewing range of 10' 5" from the front of the TV (within 35°
horizontal, 20° vertical).
Adjustable, Durable Frame: The Panasonic 3D
Active Glasses (TY-EW3D10U) are easily adjusted to fit various face shapes and
sizes, from children to adults. They can be comfortably worn over
ordinary prescription glasses. The 3D glasses only weigh 2.2 oz.
Battery Powered: The Panasonic 3D Active Glasses are powered by a
single coin-shaped lithium battery (CR2032). The battery provides approximately
75 hours of use.
Auto Power Off: An Auto Power Off function automatically turns the
glasses off if they are placed in a location outside the viewing range for 5
minutes, even if the TV remains turned on.
3D Warnings:
- Only use the 3D Eyewear for viewing 3D content.
- Do not move around while wearing the 3D Eyewear.
- Parents/guardians should monitor children's viewing habits to avoid
their prolonged use without rest periods.
- In the event that you experience dizziness, nausea, or other discomfort
while viewing 3D images, discontinue use and rest your eyes.
