High Humidity Design: The Boston Acoustics HSi H460T2 is a
high-humidity speaker for single location stereo in-ceiling installation. The
HSi H460T2 is ideal for bathrooms, saunas, or other high-humidity locations. The
HSi H460T2 is designed for outstanding durability as well as outstanding sonic
performance. Rubber surrounds, coated steel hardware, aluminum grilles,
specially coated crossover network, and a copolymer speaker cone help in
protecting the HSi H460T2 from the elements.
Stereo Application: The Boston Acoustics HSi H460T2 6-inch Stereo In-Ceiling Speaker delivers
single-speaker stereo to hallways and other spaces of your home, thanks to its
dual woofer voice-coils and both left- and right-channel inputs.
Dual Tweeters: The Boston Acoustics HSi H460T2 features dual 0.75-inch
aluminum dome tweeters which are angled for wide sound dispersion.
6-inch Woofer: The Boston Acoustics HSi H460T2 features a 6-inch Boston
Acoustics Deep Channel copolymer woofer.

Mounting
Paintable: The grille and bezel of the HSi H460T2 can be painted,
allowing you to match the speaker with your wall or ceiling finish. A plastic
paint shield is included.
Installation: The Boston Acoustics HSi H460T2 can be easily installed
in your existing wall or ceiling. The round shape and flush-design allow the HSi
H4602T to mimic the look of a recessed lighting fixture. The in-ceiling speaker
requires a cutout diameter of 6.75" and a depth of 4.25" (from surface). Each
speaker frame has a 8.065" diameter. Once the holes are cut, each speaker is
placed in the opening and the rotating cams are tightened, allowing you to
secure each speaker to the drywall (0.3125"-1.375" thick) without any extra
assembly.
New Construction Bracket (Optional): The optional new construction
bracket (NCBR5, sold separately) is intended for new construction applications
only; the bracket is neither needed nor helpful for installations in existing
walls.
