Chose these to replace the OEM speakers on my Rav4. The original speakers had an awful awful, 'boomy' sound. Picked these out based on the advice of the Crutchfield advisor. Pretty easy to install, and the sound is a nice improvement. Much more balanced sound.

Pros:

Clear sound. Easy install.

Cons:

Not that I'm aware of.

I purchased two pairs of these Kickers to swap out the stock (junk) speakers in my Suzuki. As other reviewers have stated, these speakers don't have much bass to offer. They sound great, and I have 2 12's for the bass. For the price point, I have no complaints, great value, great price. If you don't have a sub to back these up, you should get one, or consider a higher quality component set, and additional amplification for your speakers.

Limited bass response

Daughter loves the speaker upgrade over the factory stock speakers. I only replaced the front but I will probably comeback and replace the rear with another set of Kickers

Pros:

Easy to install. Fit vehicle well. sound good.

Cons:

nothing really except the universal mounting brackets could have lined up a little better.

I have a regular cab tacoma so there aren't many options for good sound. I paired these up with a Sound Ordance M-2100 and wow! Loud and very crisp.

Pros:

75 watt power handling crystal clear sound even with the amp pushing them hard well worth the price

Cons:

Not much in the way of bass but they are 5 1/4 what do you expect. I put a sealed and powered Sound ordance 8'' sub under the seat and it balances out perfectly

Iv had these speakers for about 3 weeks now and they sound great with all music i mostly listen to rap and ragae nd hiphop and they sound great not much bass but what youd expect from this size the first mayb 1 1/2 of music i couldnt turn it up alot because of breakig them in but after that they sounded great the harnesses were a huge help and easy to install into my 2000 jeep cherokee sport

Great sound cheap

Cons:

Not much bass but what can you expect from such a small speaker

I currently have these hooked up to the stock head unit. I am not impressed at all. I did purchase a new head unit as well with components for the front that did not make it in yet. I hope these get A LOT better with the head unit or they will be going back. I will update after I finish the install.

I don't expect bass, but no mids noticeable either.

Easy installation, good sound. I think I need an amplifier for them stereo power isn't enough.

Replaced factory speakers in the sound bar of a Jeep Wrangler. Was an inprovement over the original speakers and quick to install.

I have a 1998 jeep wrangler, the previous owner had put Sony Xplods in the roll bar. They were rated at about 35W RMS and just sounded horrible. I ordered these in the mail and wasn't exactly too sure what to expect, they took about half an hour to install and honestly sound amazing. I just wish I had done it sooner. They have great bass for the size and for all the extra installation equipment Crutchfield gives you it is a fantastic deal. I would defiantly recommend these as an easy upgrade from stock speakers. I also installed the Kicker 4x6" in the speaker wells, they are a good compliment. I plan to finish my audio re-haul through Crutchfeild with dual Kicker 10" subs and a six channel deck (not entirely sure what make just yet). Again with these speakers great range and power rating!

Easy install, great sound, looks sharp.

Cons:

none

The staff answered the inquiry with a lot of knowledge of their products. The speaker were a great value/sound upgrade to factory speakers. The proper brackets and factory plugs made installation a breeze.

These speakers look and sound great.Running them through 4 channel kicker amp.Also running 6 by nine kickers and kicker comp subs to kicker amp.

I was pleasantly surprised with the sound these small speakers put out. I modified the foam baffles by cutting the back half of the baffles as instructed by the Crutchfield Advisor. This was done to help improve the sound.

Pros:

Sounds great for their size.

Cons:

The 5 1/4 inch speakers did not align with factory holes. The remedy was to screw the new speakers into the foam material which proved sturdy enough to mount them.
