At Crutchfield, you'll get detailed, accurate information that's hard to find elsewhere. That's because we have our own in-house Product Research team — they open the box, verify contents, check the owner's manual, and record dimensions, features and specs. We stay on top of new products and technologies to help people make informed choices.

Features

Cone Design: The subwoofer's Agave Sisalana fibers are infused with aluminum oxide, resulting in a lightweight and rigid driver to produce quick, accurate, well rounded bass response. The M10.1 also uses a durable rubber surround.

Motor Structure: The hand wound voice coil is energized by double stacked magnets and cooled by pole piece and spider plateau venting.

Terminals: The spring post terminals accept pin connectors, single or dual banana plugs, or bare wire up to 8-gauge.

Cast Aluminum Basket: The die-cast aluminum basket resists flexing and resonance (ringing).

Enclosure:

• Sealed: Brax recommends a 1.0 cubic foot sealed box for the M10.1.
• Ported Enclosure: Brax recommends a 1.5 cubic foot ported enclosure with a 4" diameter port tube. Two port length options are recommended, 18.75" (resulting in 35 Hz tuning frequency and 33.5 Hz -3dB frequency) or 13.5" (resulting in 40 Hz tuning frequency and 35 Hz -3dB frequency).
