Features

Tweeters: The TR050-CTi is a pair of 1/2" textile dome tweeters with integral phase plugs and powerful, ferro-fluid cooled and damped neodymium magnets. The tweeters come installed in flush-mount fixtures. For surface mounting, the flush-mount fixtures simply slide into the surface-mount fixtures. The tweeters do not swivel or angle in the flush-mount or surface-mount fixtures.

Crossovers: The TR050-CTi tweeters use electrolytic capacitors on the in-line 1st order high-pass filters. The Polyswitch electronic tweeter protection circuit is designed to minimize the possibility of tweeter failure. It monitors current going to the tweeter and will disconnect the tweeter from the signal when it senses overload. Once the volume has been reduced, the protection circuit will reset itself automatically.
