Klipsch's R-2800-CSM-II in-ceiling speaker demonstrates that big sound need not equal bulky, room-filling speakers. It sports a 8" polypropylene woofer for tight, full-sounding bass, plus two 3/4" silk dome tweeters for faithful reproduction of both left and right channels of a stereo signal. With an overall width of about 11" this speaker isn't exactly small, but its stereo input design lets music lovers fully enjoy their tunes in rooms where a conventional left and right speaker pair wouldn't be convenient to install.
Keeping a low profile
The '2800-CSM-II- stays comes with a SlimTrim™ grille that minimizes the impact on your décor. The visible frame size is reduced by 90% and grille depth is reduced by 80% over previous designs, for a nearly flush finish that blends in beautifully. The paintable, aluminum, magnetic grille attaches securely with ease to virtually eliminate resonant distortion.
An optional in-ceiling bracket is recommended for installing the R-2800-CSM-II in new construction (or a room that's undergoing major renovation).
