Scratch & Dent Items
Most Scratch & Dent items come from customer returns. Unlike our Open Box items, these products have cosmetic scratches and dents. We bench test our Scratch and Dent items, then repackage them for sale at a reduced price. These products may not have original packaging and may not be eligible for manufacturer-sponsored offers. Scratch and Dent items are covered by the full manufacturer's warranty.

Exchanges for "better" (less damaged) Scratch & Dent models are not permitted. Here's a look at some typical scratches and dents, so you can get an idea of what to expect.

Here's how a component winds up in Scratch & Dent:
• The product was dented, scratched or blemished in shipping.
• The manufacturer's box was damaged, but the component was unharmed.
• The product was returned to us without the original packaging (we'll supply new packaging).
• The product was returned to us without the owner's manual (we'll supply a photocopy replacement).
• The product was returned to us without the original remote control (we'll supply an equivalent or better remote).
• The product was returned to us in need of repair. (It’s been repaired or refurbished to factory specifications.)

Please note: We can’t identify which of the above reasons caused a particular item to wind up in Scratch & Dent.

These products may not have original packaging and may not be eligible for Manufacturer-sponsored offers. The manufacturer's warranty applies, but may be different than the new stock warranty.

Most items may be returned for any reason, opened or unopened, within 30 days, for an exchange or refund for the full amount of the merchandise. Shipping is not refunded. Refunds are issued to the same credit card, debit card, gift certificate, or other form of payment used in the original transaction. Because of the special nature of our Scratch & Dent and Scratch & Dent Factory Refurbished items, exchanges for "better" (less damaged) Scratch & Dent models are not permitted.
